• Streering
  • designed jigs for welding new tubes to connect steering shaft
  • explored ways to ensure rules compliance for new steering wheel location
• Dynamics
  • Derived numbers to do load scenarios for accelerating and steering working on getting CG, got max acceleration numbers
  • Designed + determined manufacturing method for suspension tab reinforcements: will create standardized 1x1 steel tubes with .25“ hole at .75“ from end. will line up hole with steel shaft, then weld tube into place to guarantee that new tabs line up with the old ones

10/31 Water Cooling Meeting

• Relocated water pump to avoid interference with accumulator and GLV
• Designed Mount for pump

11/2 Full Team Meeting

• Water cooling: set constraints to fix pump in full vehicle assembly
• Dynamics:
  • created packaging sketch for cross-strut with headrest, seatbelts, and dampers
  • Ordered new rear dampers
• Brakes:
  • Ordered flare kit and tube bender
  • started creating plan for where to place flares
