Overall methodology used by teams
1. Calculate lateral and longitudinal loads on the tires
2. Choose an inner diameter of the bearing based on the outer diameter of the stub
3. Assess options based on load capabilities and chosen inner diameter
4. Choose from available options based on cost and weight
5. Assess the fit and tolerance of the bearing in the upright system

Fix brake caliper mounting to make it disassemblable - don’t hide bolts behind brake disc / make reversed such that bolts come out away from brake disc
Make camber adjustable by having it mounted separately with spacers and shims that can be swapped - look up inspiration
Eliminate need for adapter between motor and gearbox
- Use gearbox that interfaces with given spline - DIN 5480 according to AMK
Manufacturable, Assemblable more important than weight, but then weight comes second
Keep 2 bearings b/c each stronger in 1 direction usually
- Stability + strength in axial direction
Alr known but larger brake disc w/ more optimal brake desired
Floating brake disc - can machine spindle to directly hold brake disc with those fastener thingies in between them
Ideally make brake disc ID large enough to come off of spindle over the wheel mounting hub
Choosing bearings: look at required ID and OD and determine from there. Use angular contact bearings for 1 directional strength, use 2x opposite directions.
